Q: Going to the Bahamas on a cruise, im only going to be on the island for one day(like 10 hours). I wanted to know anything cool do to do thats walking distance from the cruise port, or not to far into town. Like a walking tour or something?
A: There is a fun little artisan market close to the port and the beaches are also very close. Ten hours is a long time though. When I went on a cruise (I've done Nassau twice), I did a snorkeling excursion. They take you out on a boat to one of the other islands for half the day and you still have time to come back, eat, and shop at the market.
