Q: I know it's hurricaine season & lots of things close down, but we have an invitation to spend a week there late July or mid August. Will there be much going on/ restaurants open etc? thanks Thanks Judy, I have been to the island several times before, but usually in early to mid spring. I know everything pretty much shuts down & the locals go away in Sept. Just curious how much slows down in Aug. I am fairly sure we'll go anyway...
A: Ive been to Anguilla in July, it was almost a ghost town, but it was one of the best vacations we ever had. There are place to eat and drink, but the beaches were vacant, not a sole to be found. It was amazing to have beaches that nice all to yourself.
